Proteins are the standard products in sports nutrition. Regardless which aim the athlete wants to achive � proteins are always a good component on his menu. Especially for the building of mass (muscle forming), an intake of proteins is indispensable. The body can't convert all proteins in the same way. This means that out of the same amount of proteins (two different proteins) which you intake, your body converts a different amount of them. The level of usability is measured as biological value.
The biological value shows in percent how much proteins can be produced by the body out of nutrient proteins. A biological value of 100 means that out of one gramm of nutrient proteins can be produced one gramm of endogenous proteins. Due to this, the biological value is of great importance for bodybuilders because it shows the quality of an albuminous dietary supplement. The biological value can be increased by the combination of different protein types. Due to this, multi-concentrates are a very good choice for bodybuilders. For mass forming, we can reccomend the products with whey proteins.
