Product Description:

Because the wild Mexican yam root is quasi not available in Europe, it is provided in form of powder in caps. The pure root contains only a little bit more than 2 % diosgenin, the extracts which are available at the market contain until 16% diosgenin. ZeinPharma uses only high quality yam root extracts with a high amount of diosgenin. The yam root contains the natural substance diosgenin which is very similar to the hormone progesterone produced naturally in the body.
The absorption of yam caps is advised especially during the menopause which is often accompanied by malaise, hot flash and excitement. The natural active substance of the yam root has a regulating and balancing effect and contributes through this to the wellness in the menopause. In order to raise the effectiveness of the yams caps, an additional absorption of borage or evening primrose oil as well as of a vitamin complex is advised.
Furthermore a healthy and well-balanced nutrition helps health especially during the menopause.
